ST. LOUIS -- As soon as Houston Astros general manager Tim Papura was presented the National League championship trophy, he handed it off.
To Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell.
No two players have spent more time as teammates and faced more postseason frustrations, and now, in the twilight of their careers, they get to bask in the October limelight.
Forget about Disneyland.
They are going to the World Series.
Their Team knocked off the St. Louis Cardinals in six games in the National League Championship Series and checks into U.S. Cellular Field for Game 1 of the World Series against the Chicago White Sox.
