VERONA -- Next fall they will be teammates at the University of Wisconsin, learning the ways of college football as lowly freshmen.
But on this brisk, fall evening, Monona Grove senior Gabe Carimi and Verona senior Kirk DeCremer were fierce competitors in the hunt for a coveted prize.
