As a part of the ongoing dispute over Southwest Airlines' wish to repeal the Wright Amendment, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport has responded to the airline's announcement of plans to start service at Denver International Airport.
In a statement DFW said that the decision by Southwest Airlines to begin providing air service at Denver International Airport should prove beyond any doubt that Southwest is also easily capable of providing long-haul service for North Texas from DFW International Airport.
