BY LARRY NEILD A MULTI-MILLIONAIRE Google executive has bought a Liverpool telescope company for just pounds 1.
The deal secured the future of struggling Telescope Technologies Limited, which was started with pounds 2m of grants by Liverpool John Moores University nine years ago.
The business has designed and built several pieces of highly-sophisticated equipment at its Birkenhead production unit, including the world's largest robotic telescope, the JMU-owned Liverpool Telescope, located in La Palma, in the Canaries.
