Richard Clare Mitchell, Sr. October 21, 2005
Richard Clare Mitchell, Sr., 91, a resident of the East River Road in Oswego, died Friday, at his home. Mr. Mitchell was born in Hornell, NY, the son of the late Clare and Helen (Pulver) Mitchell. He was a life resident of Oswego.
He was a 1935 graduate of Dartmouth College, and a 1938 graduate of Cornell Law School. At Cornell, he graduated 2nd in his class, and was the Business Manager for the Cornell Law Review.
Mr. Mitchell was a practicing attorney in Oswego since 1938, and was the senior partner in the Mitchell, Mitchell and Palmer Law Firm. He was the longest practicing attorney in Oswego ...
