LOS ANGELES: Cartoon Network has hired James Anderson as its new VP of PR.
Anderson will be in charge of all PR efforts for the Atlanta-based network.
He joins the company from Los Angeles-based television production company Carsey-Werner, producer of such programs as That '70s Show, The Cosby Show, Roseanne, and 3rd Rock from the Sun.
Anderson will be based in Atlanta and will report to Shirley Powell, SVP of corporate communications for Turner Broadcasting System. He will also work closely with Jim Samples, EVP and GM of Cartoon Network.
