Amman is one of the world's leading potash and phosphate exporters--but the two companies in charge of extracting these important minerals are approaching their business from entirely different perspectives. On the one hand is Arab Potash Company (APC), whose privatisation in 2003 paved the way for capital investment and a major expansion of its activities.
