In past years I've shared some soap making secrets with COUNTRYSIDE readers and received wonderful correspondence in return. In 2001 my husband and I moved from southern Wisconsin to our beautiful north country home near Phillips, Wisconsin. Shortly after we moved up here I met a delightful lady who had begun making soap due to letters we exchanged back in the 1990s. What fun to make friends through a congenial magazine!
