Article: New Delhi, Oct 25 (PTI) Onion prices today eased by Rs 2-3 a kg in the retail markets in some states, though there was no let up in the prices in the major producing state Maharashtra.

Onions were sold for anything between Rs 10 and Rs 16 a kg in Andhra Pradesh, Rs 17-18 in Tamil Nadu and Rs 18-25 in Madhya Pradesh by retail vendors.
But in Maharashtra, where the commodity was being sold in the retail market in the range of Rs 18-30, traders maintained that prices would not drop before November 15 by when fresh stocks are expected.
