AUSTIN, Texas -- Fitch Ratings maintains its Rating Watch Negative on the Jefferson Parish, Louisiana (the parish) credits listed below, reflecting ongoing concern about the possibility of longer term impairment of revenue streams and service delivery, as well as the uncertainty surrounding economic recovery. As noted below, most of the issues covered in the Rating Watch action carry bond insurance, with the insurers expected to cover debt service non-payments should they occur.
