China's second beryllium plant launches new operations in Xinjiang
Shanghai. October 26. INTERFAX-CHINA - The Fuyun Hengsheng Beryllium Co.
Ltd., which is only the second beryllium maker in China, started operations last week at a new beryllium plant in Xinjiang Autonomous Region.
Hengsheng Beryllium was established by the Xinjiang Nonferrous Metals Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. (XNMI), the Xinjiang Henghe Investment Co., Ltd. and the Xinjiang Rare Earth Company in 2003.
The total investment of the new beryllium plant is RMB 50 mln (USD 6.17 mln).
