One dotted line in Geneva's new bikeway implementation plan elicited an uproar Monday from some residents who see it as a threat.
The line, which symbolizes a proposed bike path, cuts through the backyards of seven houses on North Bennett Street. The yards abut the Fox River and are directly across from River Park.
At the Monday evening committee of the whole meeting, officials said they would try to put a bike path where the line is if the area is ever redeveloped and there is an opportunity for the city to buy property.
