Phoenix-- Sundt Construction Inc. has been chosen as the design-build contractor for the Phoenix Public Transit West Operating Facility, a bus operations center at the northeast corner of 79th Avenue and Van Buren Street. RNL Design of Phoenix is the architect.
The state-of-the-art facility -- first in the nation to employ drive-through design -- will be comprised of four structures totaling 121,000 square feet, including a covered fueling area and covered parking for transit and private vehicles.
