LOS ANGELES - At first glance, they seem as different as night and day. Rodeo Drive is one of the world's most celebrated shopping streets, located in the middle of the world-renowned Beverly Hills shopping district. South Coast Plaza is a mega-shopping mall about an hour drive south, planted 26 years ago in the middle of acres of Costa Mesa orange groves.
