CHITTAGONG, Oct 27 Asia Pulse - The weekly tea sale here Tuesday -- the last sale of Ramadan -- witnessed a strong demand from internal market particularly the loose tea buyers.
As a result, well-made good liquoring types were a dearer market. There was also some interest from Blenders but this section was not as forceful as in the last sale, according to a market report.
Afghanistan re-entered the market but was selective, while Pakistan buyers were again out-priced. CIS lent useful support.
Good liquoring Dusts were again a strong feature.
CTC Leaf: 16,688 bags and 1,452 c/s on offer met with a strong demand.
