Oct. 26--CLERMONT TO WELCOME SAFETY EXPO: The second annual South Lake County Public Safety Expo is planned for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Waterfront Park in Clermont. The first 500 children will receive a gift bag from McDonald's.
Activities will include face painting, a bounce house, Home Depot children's workshop, a fire-safety house and live entertainment throughout the day.
Demonstrations will be conducted by fire, police, EMS organizations, Orlando Regional Health Care System's Air Care helicopter, a Department of Transportation No-Zone trailer, Florida Highway Patrol, ABATE Motorcycles and more.
