The Board of Legal Specialization and Education has approved two new specialization areas and is looking at a third. Meeting in September at the Bar's General
Meeting in Tampa, the BLSE gave its okay to Intellectual Property Law and State and Federal Government and Administrative Practice as new certification areas. The latter was objected to by the Administrative Law Section, which said the title could be misleading.
The BLSE plans to submit the two programs to the Program Evaluation Committee and the Bar Board of Governors at the board's October 20-21 meeting for initial review. The governors could give their final approval at their December meeting ...
