In the past one or two years there are major cases of overseas acquisition made by Chinese enterprises almost every several months. Overseas acquisition activities conducted by Chinese enterprises are just beginning, and the proportion in the global acquisition cases is still not big. The total value of acquisition cases in the world reached US$10 000 billion in 2004. The trans-boundary transaction value by China's firms was around US$39 billion, the proportion in the world total being less than 0.4%.
As is seen from recent overseas acquisition cases made by Chinese enterprises, both the number and the average scale have made a constant upgrading. There is surely ...
