There's also plenty of non-hybrid, mainstream and even experimental classical music on tap this week.
* Tonight and Friday at 8 p.m. in the Trinity Lutheran Church, 1904 Winnebago St., the Madison Bach Musicians will present a program of works by Bach and Handel.
Included are works in a range of styles, from Bach's funeral cantata, BWV106, the "Actus Tragicus" or "God's Time is the Best of All Times," to the instrumental romp of the "Brandenburg" Concerto No. 1 (original version, first movement; serving as an overture); to the mirth of the "Hunt" Cantata (BWV208); and finally to the grandeur of Handel's "Water Music."
