Far from O'Hare International Airport and the suburbs fighting its expansion, Steven Cross and his neighbors in Peotone ponder what the federal go-ahead for new O'Hare runways - should it survive a current legal challenge - means for them.
"O'Hare expansion would be a good thing and hopefully would lessen the need for a Peotone airport," said Cross, village president of Peotone. "The village has always taken an anti-airport stance."
