Kenneth Ireland's "A Treasury of Ghost Stories" is a chapter book containing a collection of famous ghost stories. The stories are all different, some long and some short, perfect to read around this time of year - Halloween. Some authors who are included are Joan Aiken, Dick King-Smith, Margaret Mahy and Susan Price.
My favorite story is "The Headless Rider," written by Grace Hallworth. I thought this tale was really scary, and I have never read about or actually seen a headless person before. I also liked "Ponkyfoot" by David ...
