Karachi, October 29 (PPI): Sindh Local Government Advisor Waseem Akhtar Saturday said blind people were an important component of society and assured them of government's complete financial and moral support.
Speaking at seminar organized here by Pakistan Association of Blinds (PAB) in connection with World White Cane Day, he said government was committed to solving blind people's problems on priority basis. He said two-percent quota for blind people in public sector jobs already existed while other incentives were in the pipeline.
