Stress is a major illness of the 90s. It can debilitate employees and be very costly to an organization. Many suffer from stress yet don't even realize it. Some think it just "goes with the job".
We are seeing more litigation in the area of stress then ever before. Yet we continue to be unsure of just what stress is, how to recognize it and most importantly, how to manage it.
