SAN DIEGO -- John Robbins, president of AmNet Mortgage Network here, was named chairman-elect of the Mortgage Bankers Association at the group's annual convention last week. NMN's Lew Sichelman sat down with Mr. Robbins shortly before the convention to discuss his thoughts and objectives for the coming year.
NMN: I am wondering exactly what your role is going to be over the next 12 months?
Mr. Robbins: My No. 1 role is going to be supporting Regina (Lowrie, the new MBA chair). She will have areas that she will ask me to concentrate on for her.
