A new Italian restaurant chain is attempting to bridge the gap between fast food and casual dining.

"Quick dining" is the term for the small, growing chain, Go Roma Italian Kitchen. Deer Park Town Center on Rand Road marks the most recent opening for the eatery that has five additional restaurants on their way.

Four friends and former business partners from Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises are launching the new concept. The first restaurant opened in the spring of 2004 in Warrenville on Diehl Road, just off I-88. The second opened the following summer on Dundee Road in Northbrook.
