Nov. 2--San Antonio grew faster in new housing starts than any other major Texas market in the third quarter, according to a survey released Tuesday.
Housing starts for the San Antonio metropolitan area totaled 4,034 in the third quarter. Measuring the 12-month trend through Sept. 30, Jack Inselmann, central division vice president of market research firm Metrostudy, said this was an 18 percent increase over the same period last year.
