Nov. 2--Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co, the country's second-largest car manufacturer and exporter, has urged the government to find a second product champion soon as it is risky for Thailand to rely only on one-ton pickup trucks.

Another product champion will also help sustain growth in the automotive industry and achieve its ultimate goal of becoming the world's ninth largest automaker within 2010 as planned by the government.
