Former Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov said he is willing to be the single presidential candidate representing democratic forces in the 2008 presidential elections.
"I am sure that a single candidate should be nominated to represent the democratic forces in the presidential elections in 2008. I can be, and I am prepared to be, this candidate," Kasyanov said while meeting with political and business figures in Samara on Tuesday.
