Energy enterprise profit growth slows in first three quarters
Shanghai. November 2 INTERFAX-CHINA . Main state-owned power, coal, oil and petrochemical enterprises profit growth slowed in the first nine months, according to the statistics released by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC).
During the first three quarters, 15 major state-owned power enterprises achieved a net profit of RMB 38.94 bln (USD 4.8 bln), a year-on-year growth of 10.7%, but 2.3 percentage less than the growth rate in the first half of the year; 32 coal enterprises recorded net profit of RMB 27.66 bln (USD 3.41 bln), up by 84.9%, 13.4 percentage ...
