If Rick Hennessy had his way, San Diego's surf culture would meet on the turf a lot more often--and not just in Del Mar.

The founder and president of La Costa-based Radioactive Golf Inc., which makes action sports-influenced golf footwear, plans to launch its first product line this week--a golf shoe that looks like a sneaker.

Dubbed Alarm and Future, the first white, gray and black-colored models styled after shoes made popular among skateboarders represent a radical departure from the traditional saddle shoes worn by amateur and professional golfers.
