A LEADING fashion designer watched in despair as her stolen clothing collection was sold off item by item on eBay for a fraction of its value.
Around [pounds sterling]4,000 worth of knitwear created by Jessica Ogden was snapped up by eager bidders on the internet auction site A cashmere cardigan worth [pounds sterling]360 went for [pounds sterling]31 and a merino wool gilet worth [pounds sterling]270 fetched just [pounds sterling]43.
The 20 items had vanished in June en route to Selfridges where they were supposed to go on sale.
