Sunday Circulation Up in 3rd Quarter; Improved Daily and Sunday Circulation Over Prior Periods

CHICAGO, Nov. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Chicago Tribune today released circulation and readership results for the most recent periods. For the quarter ended September 25, 2005, Chicago Tribune's Monday-Friday average paid circulation was 589,492, down 1.6% from the same period last year. The Sunday average was 943,262, up 0.1% from the third quarter last year.
