EDITORIAL: This month, the Society's annual Explore conference, organised by the Expedition Advisory Centre (EAC), will bring together exploration enthusiasts from all over the world with interests ranging from scientific and cultural research to gap-year travel and adventure.
In terms of outreach, the EAC is the world's leading expedition centre, and it's no surprise that Explore is the highlight of many expedition planners' calendars. The two-day conference is the place to come to find the inspiration, contacts and practical advice you need for planning an overseas venture.
