OAK BROOK, Ill. -- American Drug Stores has spent the past year-and-a-half methodically laying the groundwork to ensure its continued success during the balance of the decade and beyond.
Already the nation's second-largest drug store retailer (with $4 billion in sales during fiscal 1992), the company began rolling out the format of the future for its Osco and Sav-on outlets in October.
