Peter Hanson's affiliation with the Batavia Interfaith Food Pantry started quite by coincidence while he was riding his bike last year.
He was pedaling on the Fox River Trail and noticed the food pantry's offices adjacent to the path in Batavia. A recent retiree after 26 years in the printing business, Hanson was looking for ways to spend his time and give back to the community. He stopped in and has been a steady volunteer ever since.
