Nov. 9--For more than 15 years, Salinan Jane Eikleberry has handed out paper ballots to people at the polls on Election Day.
When Saline County switches to voting machines next year, said Eikleberry ,2072 Mission, there will be some who will resist the change.
"I think there will be more resistance from the senior citizens," said her husband, Ernie. "They don't want to be bothered."
But Jane Eikleberry, who is nearing 70, said technology is the future, and she welcomes the use of electronic voting.
