The balance of power on the Onondaga County Legislature appeared to remain unchanged Tuesday night as all 12 incumbents in contested races kept their seats.
The Republican majority in the 19-member Legislature remains 13-6.
The closest race was in the 7th District, a seat held by Republican James DiBlasi, who also ran on the Independence and Conservative lines. The 7th District, which covers much of Syracuse's North Side, is the only GOP-held Legislature seat representing the city.
Democrats recruited Dom DiPaulo, a former firefighter and union leader, to challenge DiBlasi, who was first elected in 1999. According to ...
