Commercial retail construction is alive and well in Texas. Wal-Mart has entered the smaller neighborhood grocery market. Smaller stores on less acreage allow Wal-Mart's Neighborhood Markets to be built on a faster timeline than their Supercenters. Aguirre Building Solutions, based in Dallas, is putting finishing touches on a new 40,000-square-foot WalMart Neighborhood Market in southwestern Fort Worth.
When it came time needed to pave the parking lot with asphalt, they contracted Brock Paving of nearby Southlake to perform the work.
