Article: Fitch Assigns Hannover Re 'A+' IFS Rating.

LONDON -- Fitch Ratings has today affirmed Hannover Rueckversicherung AG's ('Hannover Re') and E+S Rueckversicherung AG's Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) ratings of 'A+'. At the same time, Fitch has affirmed Hannover Re's Long-term rating of 'A+'. The Outlook on these ratings is Stable. Fitch has also affirmed the 'A-' (A minus) ratings assigned to Hannover Finance (Lux) S.A.'s USD750 million subordinated notes due in 2024 and EUR500m perpetual subordinated notes. Both issues are guaranteed by Hannover Re.
