Robert Horne lived in Las Vegas for 25 years before moving to New Mexico in 1998. Since then, the vice president of marketing and design at Aquatic Pools Inc. has seen dramatic changes in the state's scenic landscapes.
"In Rio Rancho, where our company is, the city approved one site of 2,500 acres for development and another of 1,600 acres," Home said. "There's also a remote site with a 500-home development." That project will include a park and recreational area with a $200,000 pool.
