Nov. 11--Islam's fault line runs through Jordan, through mosques and markets, dirt-poor neighborhoods and opulent palaces. It is a line between extremism and moderation, the past and future. On Wednesday, the fault line shifted in a terrible way when terrorist bombers struck three hotels in the normally sleepy capital of Amman.
In explosive flashes of destruction and instant death, the terrorists left behind broken glass and shattered bodies. They killed at least 59 people, including the fathers of the bride and groom at a wedding party. And they rattled a country, one of America's staunch allies in the Middle East.
