There is no such thing as a typical hunt for this incredible antelope. He either mysteriously slips away or stands there, solid in the crosshairs.
With greater kudu, as with Africa, the first impression is always false. With "Africa" the first impression is of dangerous game, good ol' Nature, red in tooth and claw. Africa is supposedly all lions, leopards and those "thick-skinned" beasts - the sole purpose of whose lives, we're told, is to take ours, although they so seldom ever seem to (but thanks for thinking of us, all the same).
