Nov. 14--COMMERCIAL MARKET KEEPS BROKERS BUSY: Like a lot of people in commercial real estate these days, the folks at Cushman & Wakefield's Apartment Brokerage Services division are having a very good year. Make that several very good years.
Cole Whitaker, who recently was promoted to executive director of the division, said pending contracts due to close by March of next year total $1.2 billion. Demand is coming both from condomimium converters and income investors, he said.
Sales prices cover the spectrum, from $25,000 a unit to $160,000 per unit. Few brokers expect the record of just less than $402,000 a unit set with ...
