Like oil to a V-6 engine or Diet Coke to a runway model, leg strength is the lifeblood of an NHL scorer.
Despite statistics that suggested otherwise, Alex Tanguay lacked his usual speed in the season's first few weeks, but the Colorado Avalanche forward believes things are starting to come around.
"I'm finally starting to get a little more strength," Tanguay said Monday. "It was a little frustrating. I knew it was going to be a process that I was going to have to go through. I'm feeling better now."
