Article: Mojave asks FERC to reject delays in California project. (Mojave Pipeline Operating Co., Federal Energy Regulatory Commission)

WASHINGTON -- Mojave Pipeline Co. is urging the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to reject requests for a full evidentiary hearing and creation of a joint federal-state review board sought by the opponents of Mojave's proposed natural gas pipeline expansion into Northern California.

Mojave said in its latest filing with FERC that the requests are simply delaying tactics sought by Pacific Gas & Electric Co. (PG&E), which opposes the Mojave expansion into PG&E's service territory.

The Sacramento, Calif., Municipal Utility District also weighed in with a filing in support of Mojave's expansion project.
