BLOCKING WTO BILLS DOES NOT BENEFIT UKRAINE, SAYS YUSCHENKO
Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has said that the actions of the political forces that block considering bill, necessary for Ukraine's joining the WTO, do not coincide with the country's strategic course. "It is a political challenge. I don't think these forces work for Ukraine's strategy," the president said in Paris on Tuesday. The considering of bills required for Ukraine's joining the WTO is being actively blocked by the Communist Party. Nevertheless, the Ukrainian MPs adopted a number of bills, and some of them have already been signed by the president.
