The Xbox police have come after the University of Oregon. You can only wonder how the wily Ducks managed to stay on the lam this long.
I mean, who ratted 'em out?
Then again, it was hardly a secret, when Oregon opened its $3.2 million football locker room in 2003, that among the amenities for the lads - flat-screen TVs, ventilated lockers, etc. - were Xbox video gaming systems.
While administrators on the other side of the river might have squirmed, the athletics department reveled in this latest example of Oregon pushing the envelope to appeal to recruits. At a time when the NCAA and faculty ...
