I just wanted to drop you a note.
I attended the San Diego Business Journal's annual Women Who Mean Business awards dinner Oct. 6 and was struck by something, and I have to say something about it.
Yes, it was my first time there, but I felt something was missing. There seemed to be this great emphasis on how many other awards the honorees had won. and not on what it took for them to be there.
The greatest service you can provide through the awards. I believe, is to inspire other women to keep on breaking down doors, boundaries and ceilings. Hearing about someone who is serving on five committees at the same time is not as ...
