If the Tappan Zee Bridge has to be replaced, Tarrytown Mayor Drew Fixell told business leaders, he'd like to see a new span that would include bus lanes.
Not for something like Westchester's Bee-Line, but a luxury service that he reasons would stand a better chance of wooing drivers away from their cars.
"It could pick up more people from more places to serve more specific locations, getting more people to use it and driving less," Fixell said, addressing the Sleepy Hollow Chamber of Commerce at its Oct. 20 meeting, held at Phelps Memorial Hospital Center in Sleepy Hollow.
