NEW YORK -- The Rocket Racing League(TM) (RRL(TM)) today announced that Erik Lindbergh, grandson of Charles Lindbergh and an experienced commercial glider and test pilot has joined as RRL as a pilot. He will take part in the first RRL races at the 2006 X PRIZE CUP in October.
"Competing to win the new rocket racing cup gives me a lot of juice, but what really excites me is the RRL's ability to open the unlimited frontier of space," said Lindbergh.
